Greg Jones can flat out DO IT!!!

One of the best combo-guards to ever come from Washington D.C., Greg “Killer Cross” Jones is an EXPLOSIVE scorer with unlimited range on his jump shot. Primarily a shooting guard, he has the ability to run a team as a point guard when necessary. Physically gifted with tremendous quickness and ball handling skills, Greg’s basketball instincts are truly amazing allowing him to dazzle fans with his creativity and mesmerizing his opponents with his D.C. style crossover. Not only can Greg flat at beat you with his basic triple-threat, first step fundamental basketball, Greg can hit you so hard with his crossover, the ankles of his opponents might be crakin. Greg was currently featured in an ESPN The Magazine article this past month about “Hooping it up, D.C. style.”

Currently, the D.C. Legend is among the league leaders in many statistical categories playing in the USBL for the St. Joseph Express. Greg is 2nd in the league in scoring with 25 points per game, 2nd in the league in 3-point percentage (45%), 4th in the league in assists with 5 per game, 2nd in the league in free-throw percentage (88%), and 8th in the league in steals with 3 per game. Tremendous statistics for Greg who is playing in the USBL to acquire recent game-tape footage, gain exposure, and to allow scouts from the NBA, NBDL, CBA, and overseas a chance to see a great player perform at a high level.

This past June 11th, 2002 Greg had 35 points, 11 assists, 5 rebounds, and 5 steals against the Kansas Cagerz in the USBL. Overall, an outstanding guard with great abilities to shoot from the outside, take his man one on one off the dribble (unbelievable D.C. dribbling crossover), a great passer, and a proven scorer and leader playing in the IBA, USBL, and for the SBA’s D.C. Legends. Greg shared the backcourt with Moochie Norris at Cardoza High School, in Washington D.C. and went on to play college basketball with Division I West Virginia University of the Big-East.
